Patricia Astorga

Patricia Astorga, Board Member, Education Dept. Chair

Patricia Astorga, Esq.,  focuses on human trafficking, immigration reform and Deferred Action Child Arrivals.  She currently serves as the liaison between FALDEF and the American Bar Association Human Trafficking Task Force. 

Ms. Astorga graduated from New York University, magna cum laude, in 2005.  While in college, she interned for then-Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, the Legal Aid Society and the DC Attorney General's Office.  Ms. Astorga obtained her Juris Doctorate from Cornell Law School in 2008, with a specialization on International Legal Affairs.  While in law school, she served as a legal extern at the Fondation Scelles in Paris, France--a non-governmental organization focused on combatting human trafficking.  
After graduating Cornell Law, Ms. Astorga joined the top-ranked law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges.  Ms. Astorga is currently a law clerk to the Honorable George B. Daniels of the Southern District of New York.
