Rogelio N. Alama, PE, SE , Board Member

A licensed Professional Civil and Structural Engineer, registered in 8 States of U.S.A. and Philippines. A builder, composer (i.e. NaFFAA Hymn, Fil-Am March, etc.) Lover of arts, poetry, history and flora; a dynamic community leader for over 25 years.

Finished Master of Science in Civil Engineering (NYU '72), B.S.C.E. (FEATI U. '62) and Certificate in Construction Management (NYU '79).

He is the lifetime member of the prestigious American Society of Civil Engineers and charter member of Structural Engineering Institute. His extensive Professional Engineering work experience involves the design and construction of many projects of USA's modern infrastructure. Due to his ingenuity and leadership in the field of engineering, he was recipient of 3 Engineering & Technology Awards and a Citation of the State Legislature of New Jersey.

He is a multi-awarded community leader due to his outstanding leadership in various non-profit, humanitarian and charitable organizations, as recognized by other organizations. A leader with high moral character and integrity, exemplary conduct, and possesses a vision to motivate and lead people by example. He is a patriot and ardent Rizalist.

He held leadership positions in major community organizations, among these are: Regional Commander of U.S.A., which is the highest rank of Knight Grand Cross of Rizal (KGCR), in the order of the Knights of Rizal. Past President of Philippine Independence Day Council, Inc.; Past Chairman of Friends Indeed USA, Inc; Past Chairman of NaFFAA Region 1 and Region Chair At-Large (District 20-R2) of the Lions Club International.

He is happily married to Nympha Serapio ( a United Nations retiree with 33 years of service) and blessed with professional children namely Ronilo,  Rommel, Regina and Robin.
